Morgan Brainard papers and household inventory, 1885-1924

Assorted papers of Hartford, Connecticut resident and prominent businessman, Morgan Bulkeley Brainard. Includes a small account book, menus from meals at the Parsons Theatre Cafe and the Hartford Club, correspondence with Henry Sage of New Haven regarding mile markers along the Hartford-Farmington line, copy of a report sent by Louis F. Swift of Chicago regarding meat, and paperwork for the trusts of Brainard's children Charles, Edward, Maxwell, and Constance. A household inventory, taken in 1914 by the Home Appraisal Co. of New York, lists all the furnishings of Brainard's home at 137 Washington Street, Hartford.
